Pressed & Bound

The Book and Movie Review Show

I bet some of you would like to see pictures from The Hobbit [quick note]

As someone who has not actually seen all three Lord of the Rings films and also not read any of the books, I am probably the poorest of reporters for anything Tolkien, Peter Jacksian, or Middle Earthien. All I know is that there is some ring, a tiny gremlin man that wants it, and a Gandalf that was once white but then it was after Labor Day and he became grey. That’s the extent of my knowledge. Luckily, this story needs no intimate knowledge of the subject matter at hand, and everything to do with just looking at pictures.

Entertainment Weekly just posted three images from the upcoming Hobbit films (upcoming as in December 2002/2003) with a few tiny snippets of info from New Zealand loving Jackson himself. Apparently, to cover the two films, they are shooting for 254 days. That’s a lot of days.

Also, feel free to curse me for not seeing the trilogy or reading the books in the comments below.
