Warning: my haikus today will involve sea animals:

It was on the news.
Australia’s epic beasts,
That’s right: monster sharks

No one knows his plight.
Being different is hard.
Swim true, monster shark.

If I’m three meters,
And monster sharks are six, then
it is time to run.

In other world news,
NASA launched a big rocket.
The moon best watch out.

The thought just occurred:
there’s monster sharks and rockets.
What is next? SPACE SHARKS.
