That Jimmy did it [Amazon coup]

Well, he did it. Ol’ Jimmy “slick jacket” Fallon shot up to the top of the charts over at Amazon with his fancy tricks. I, for one, congratulate him on this. The ever better news is that that ESPN book has dropped to number 3*.

If you would like to see what the book is all about, you can check it out right here.

*I am sure that that book is great.

I, for one, bow down to our new ebook overlords

It’s finally happened. After just four years in the mainstream market, it looks like these little electronic, non-tangible books we like to read on our Kindles have finally surpassed that of smelly, old, paper ones, at least, according to Amazon. Read more…

Jimmy Fallon attempting an Amazon bestseller coup

We don’t normally discuss the goings on of Twitter here (that’s what the sidebar widget is for!), but this little story is interesting in its potential execution. James T. Fallon, of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon fame, is trying to turn the tides in his favor by crowd-jacking the Amazon bestsellers list.

Amazon sticks its hand in the online streaming pot, stirs it up

Last week, to confirm many rumors, B&N unveiled its take on the eBook reader, and it is one sexy piece of plastic.

Amazon To Make Golden Statue Of Dan Brown

It may just be my browser, but when I got to Amazon, I’m asked to board the hypetrain for a trip to Brownville. It turns out that here in a couple of weeks the author of The Da Vinci Code will be releasing his next Robert Langdon novel, The Lost Symbol. According to Amazon, this will be an event of EPIC PROPORTIONS.

Sounds of Amazon pushing old money aside while eagerly awaiting the sales of this book after the break.
