As much as it pains us to say so, no theater in Oklahoma City is showing Tales from Earthsea this weekend. In an effort to make sure that everyone has enough room to continue screening Step Up 3D, OKC theaters have decided films that are actually good need to wait. We will not be discussing this film on this week’s show.
HOWEVER, and this is not new news but still good news, the show this week will simply focus on The Expendables and Scott Pilgrim. That should be enough awesome for one week.
Do we know when Tales from Earthsea will be coming to OKC
Not yet. I’ve spoken with the manager for the AMC at Quail Springs Mall (where most Miyazaki films come to OKC), and she said that it might be here possibly in the next couple of weeks. They get their week’s schedules on Tuesdays, and I’m going to hound them each Tuesday about it. As soon as we know, we’ll make a post.
