Episode 121: The Not-So Secret Garden

Downtown Oklahoma City is ripe with activity. You have seen the giant building being erected before in past episodes, but now a newly renovated park right across the street from that building has been re-opened to the public. We go check it out.

Episode 120: On the Rooftops

For our second time viewing a film at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, we chose to see Bill Cunningham New York, a documentary about a very genuine old man who takes photos for a little, small town newspaper called The New York Times.

Episode 119: The One Where a Guy Nearly Wrecks a Segway

Colin decided to leave the state for some reason, so Joe and myself barely managed to put together a show. BARELY MANAGED. Through courage and grace, we somehow were able to stand around and sarcastically discuss a book and two movies. And then all of the sudden some dude nearly ate it on a Segway. And if you are keeping track, this is the second time that we have filmed downtown in OKC where someone has misunderstood the intricacies of Segway operation.

Episode 118: Uno Cientos Diez y Ocho

Spanish was never my strong suit, but I think that says “one hundred eighteen.” In any case, it was quite beautiful during this shoot to the point of sunburns. Summer is here and there is nothing we can do about it. Zeus on the other hand…

Episode 117: Check Out This Fountain

In this episode there is a fountain. And it sprays in such a way that is mystifying and magical. We were captivated by it and all of its inner workings.

In reality, it was kind of a small affair, but Joe did make the comment that the water streams looked like solid water-turds floating trough the air. A scholar and a gentleman, that one.

Episode 116: The Couch Episode

It became super cold outside and because we are sissies, we decided to shoot indoors just like old times. One day in the future we might attempt to wear coats, but that is just a pipe dream at this point. Yeah!

Show is a little late this week. To make up for it, watch this video.

Sometimes life gives you lemons, and other times life just clogs up your routine and you can’t complete everything that you set out to do. This week is more of the latter in regards to Episode 116. But fret not, while you wait you can always watch the video above and hope that one day you can go dogboarding.

Episode 115: Giant Robots

For no good reason other than “we wanted to,” this week we put voting aside and instead saw two films that were showing at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. Realistically, we just didn’t want to slum it with the common folk over at the regular movie theater. And now that we are high-brow art museum types, we may not ever go back to those sticky floor germ hotels. Well, until next week, that is. For those of you in OKC, though, definitely go see a film at the museum at some point. It’s so nice and clean!

Episode 114: Mars Needs MILFs

Colin is mysteriously absent this week as we go downtown to shoot. This time we actually went a little west of where we normally shoot to film in the middle of tall buildings that you wouldn’t expect even existed in this part of the world. We also are greeted by a friendly hobo.

Episode 113: Adjust This

Episode 113 of Pressed & Bound is online! Daring freezing (not really) temperatures and near fatal (nope) winds, Joe, Colin, and Garret venture forth into the cement jungle of downtown OKC to document their findings on two films and a book. Did they survive? COULD they have survived?
