Have you ever wondered why bad things happen in the world – not just to good people, but to anyone? It always seems random to me, but generally there are enough good people in the world to help when bad things happen. If you read my first post titled “Getting Married Is Busy” you probably would think that I am a conceited prick and you might be correct in your assumption. However, I didn’t mean for the post to be a true reflection of me but rather a reflection of a part of my humor. Apparently that humor has pissed off the gods/powers that be/Karma/etc. Just recently I have experienced the awfulness that life provides sometimes. Yesterday, I had to put over $600 of repairs into a car, which happened to be during monsoon season here in Oklahoma. It sucked. Then, to make matters worse, the chapel in which I am scheduled to be married on May 17 was damaged by the wind. That’s right, the wind broke the STEEPLE off of the chapel and it has punctured a hole in the roof. Currently, the bagillion-pound steeple is resting on the roof. I hope this is fixed promptly. And now, the show is being delayed due to the weather. All of these things may seem random, and they probably are. But as I said before, there are generally enough good people in the world to remedy the problem and so I will defer to a good person: Garret, if you are reading this right now, can you acquire one of those things from MIB where it erases people’s short term memories and use it on all the people who have read my first post and/or know about it? Thanks dude. And then delete my first post. That would be awesome. Hopefully, Karma has subsided by then.
