Internet fame and fortune has brought me to the apex of celebrity. I was asked recently, since Joe and I do movie reviews on our show, to help review The Wizard on a podcast called Nintendorks Radio. Now, we understand that for a long time, for whatever reason, the main video link for the show hasn’t worked on iPods (even though they damned well should). With the latest episode, we’ve converted the video through another method and hopefully that will now work. The normal .mp4 file that usually goes up is still available and the iTunes download still links to that file, but there is an extra link now on the page for the iPod-working file. Would you like to write some book or movie reviews? Are you willing to put out your ideas to the masses? For free? Well if you answered “yes” to all of these questions, then you might be a good candidate for a Pressed & Bound staff writer.

Basically what we’re looking for are a few folks who love books or movies (or both) who would like to get some of their opinions off of their chest and immortalized in internet glory. There really are no incredibly strict rules; we’re just looking for people who want to help others find new material to read and watch.

Due to various circumstances, we are unable to do the show tonight. It’s short notice, but we should be back to our regularly scheduled program next week.

Just in case you all were a little skeptical about the shirts, I was able to use my incredible personality (read: push the “buy” button) to get one of them. I would have had the shirt on the 27th of March, but whoever works the office at my apartment complex decided to not leave me a message to let me know it had come in. Since this is a joyous day of shirt receiving, I’m not going to complain that this has happened twice in the last two weeks and I’ve gotten packages way too late. Instead, I will show a picture of said shirt.

Unfortunately, it turns out that for some reason the logo on the shirt came out a little low. It’s more in the middle of the shirt instead of in the upper chest area. It doesn’t really bother me too much, but I’ve gone ahead and changed the logo so that it will be higher up. Hopefully it’ll look fine for everyone now. But yes, the shirt came out visually fine. I just had to move up the logo a little.

I would definitely suggest buying one, and not only because you’ll be the envy of all your friends. There is a link at the top of the page that will be your gateway to the land of P&B shirt purchasing.
